Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between RTF and solid wood drawer fronts?
Rigid thermofoil (RTF) drawer fronts feature a durable vinyl layer bonded to a medium density fiberboard (MDF) core, offering consistent color, seamless construction, and resistance to staining and moisture. They're typically more budget-friendly than solid wood. Solid wood drawer fronts provide natural beauty with unique grain patterns and can be stained to match existing cabinets. While RTF comes pre-finished in your chosen color, solid wood arrives unfinished, giving you complete control over the final stain or paint color to perfectly match your existing cabinetry.
How do I measure my existing drawers for replacement fronts?
Measuring for replacement drawer fronts is simple. For existing drawer fronts that you're replacing with the same size, measure from outside edge to outside edge and record as width x height to the nearest 1/16". If you're measuring the drawer box opening, add your desired overlay (typically 1" total for a standard 1/2" overlay on all sides).
Always double-check your measurements before ordering, since all our drawer fronts are custom-made to your exact specifications.
What are your most popular drawer front styles?

The Standard Slab provides a minimalist look, while our Raised Square options like the Daytona and Naples RTF add traditional elegance. Can I install drawer fronts myself, or do I need a professional?

The process involves drilling pilot holes, positioning the fronts with proper spacing (at least 1/8" between components), and securing with screws from inside the drawer box.
