We ship drawer boxes fully assembled and ready for installation as replacements or upgrades. If you intend to use under-mount glides, select the option for notching and boring, and we'll prepare your drawer for them at the factory (6" minimum width). Scoop hand pulls are also available on boxes measuring at least 8" wide.
These drawer boxes are 5 1/2" tall, but you get to determine the width and depth to match your existing cabinet opening. We build each one to order in the U.S. using quality materials and precision attention to detail, with the option to list measurements down to the nearest 1/16" for both width and length/depth.

When measuring width, do I measure the inside measurements or outside?
For drawer boxes, you measure the outside dimensions.

If the cabinet drawer opening is 33 inches wide and 16.5 deep what size drawer would I need to accommodate under mount Blum slides?
If you plan on using undermount glides here is the following information:
Width: Deduct 3/8" from the cabinet opening.
Height: Deduct at least 3/4" from cabinet opening and then round down to the closest 1/2" - it looks like you have chosen 5 1/2" as your height of the drawer box.
Depth: We would recommend a 15" length/depth box and therefore 15" length undermount glides as the length of the box has to equal the length of the glides.
Based on the dimensions you provided we would recommend the following: 5 1/2" H x 32 5/8" W x 15" L box.
